The Research Forum is open to all TAMUCC faculty and staff that have research roles such as Principal Investigator (PI), Co-Principal Investigator (Co-PI), or is a Research Administrator (RA).
The Research Forum gives an opportunity for the university research community to meet the CPIRA members elected to represent PI’s, Co-PI’s, and RA’s. This forum allows the research community to interact, exchange ideas, learn about future opportunities for training and educational courses related to research, and give feedback to CPIRA about their research needs. CPIRA will inform the research community about the Council’s commitment to the research environment for students, faculty, and staff.
This is the first CPIRA Research Forum that will be held every Spring and Fall. This year’s Research Forum will consist of a 30-minute social, followed by a one-hour panel discussion, and ending with a 30-minute social. The panel will be: (1) Ms. Gail Sutton, M.S., CPIRA Chair and Chief Operating Officer of the Harte Research Institute, (2) Dr. Ahmed Mahdy, Interim Associate Vice President for RCO, and (3) Ms. Rebecca Ballard, J.D., Director of Research Compliance.
This year’s forum is sponsored by the Harte Research Institute and the Conrad Blucher Institute!
